ABR - Accredited Buyer Representative

With over 20,000 members, REBAC is the largest association of real estate professionals focusing on all aspects of buyer representation. Over 11,000 ABR® designees have completed the REBAC course, passed the test and provided documentation of buyer agency experience.  The two-day, 16-hour course and one eight hour elective course is required for gaining the designation.   ABR "core course" and elective course is offered at PPAR in the spring.  
 

CCIM - Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute

CCIMs are recognized experts in commercial real estate brokerage, leasing, asset management valuation and investment analysis. The CCIM business network includes more than 5,000 designees and 5,000 candidates principally in North America. CPM - Certified Property Management

Acquire valuable real estate management skills through educational offerings leading to the CPM® designation. CRB - Certified Residential Broker

With more than 7,000 brokerage owners and managers nationwide enjoying the benefits of membership, the Real Estate Brokerage Managers Council is recognized throughout the industry as the professional peer organization for real estate's leaders. Real estate brokerage owners and managers will be ready to meet their personal and professional challenges when they earn the CRB designation.  This advanced designation is designed to cultivate business-managing skills in the residential broker.  Contact :  1-800-621-8738 for more information.
 

CRS - Certified Residential Specialist

e-PRO - Internet Certification

e-PRO is the only technology and Internet certification program of its kind that is recognized nationally and offered by the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®.  e-PRO is an online training program offering complete instruction on how to communicate effectively with the online consumer and get the most out of one's online real estate business.  Comprehensive and rewarding, the certification raises the bar for all REALTORS® in Internet and technical expertise.  For more information about the designation log onto www.epronar.com
 

GRI - Graduate Realtor Institute

Members primarily involved in residential real estate wanting to increase their knowledge and skills in a broad array of technical subjects and the fundamentals of real estate participate in the REALTOR® Institute, graduate program to earn the GRI designation. The program also provides opportunities to develop important business contacts. The GRI is a nationally recognized designation of the National Association of REALTORS®.  For the member who is starting out in Real Estate or been practicing for less than five years.  Requires completion of 90 classroom hours,  Only required course is the GRI Ethics & Professional Practices, all other courses are students' choice as long as they total 90 hours.  Classes usually given by your local association.  Contact : (719) 633-7718 for more information.
 

LTG - Leadership Training Graduate

Career Leaders Aren't Born, They're Designated. The LTG designation focuses on career improvement and individual goal attainment The designation provides recognition to professionals who excel in career leadership through the dynamic combination of education and experience.  From the Women's Council of REALTORS®, this designation represents a series that teaches leadership skills.  Contact : 970-223-8400 for more information.
 

MRE - Master of Real Estate

A designation that has made a comeback nationally.  This program is designed to help members of the Colorado Association of REALTORS further develop their awareness of current real estate topics and issues.  The program will increase member's ability to attract new business and advance their professional image with the public and other real estate professionals.  Contact:  1-800-944-6550 Caren Hunt for more information.
