MRE Program Update - February 2008
The Master of Real Estate (MRE) classroom program will be
going through critical review beginning January 1, 2008.
Curriculum and delivery methods will be fully inspected and analyzed to
ensure the program meets the quality and performance standards set by
the CAR Education Services. Unavoidably, this will require a
temporary suspension of the classroom opportunities. While the CAR
will be temporarily withholding classroom offerings, candidates will
still be able to work toward the designation in '08 while the review
process is con on via the many MRE approved online offerings at
www.VanEd.com and through the 2008
MRE Premier Track. Premier Track schedule will be released in
mid-December. If you still have questions about the MRE or any
other CAR education offerings, please contact CAR Education Services at
1-800-944-6550.
Update from CAR - The following MRE courses will be returned to the MRE
program as of April 1st:
My Commission or Yours?
Overcoming Obstacles - No longer a required course
Negotiation & Meditation
Professional Standards in Real Estate
CAR has removed the requirement for the course entitled "Overcoming
the Obstacles" from the MRE program reducing the total number of
educational hours required to 90.
